True IDC in partnership with tech leaders, hosted the Discovering the Generative AI Ecosystem event

True Internet Data Center Company Limited (True IDC), Thailand's leading cloud and data center service provider, in partnership with Amity Solutions, Alibaba Cloud, and T3 Technology hosted the Discovering the Generative AI Ecosystem event at the Grand Hall, True Digital Park. Within the event, experts from both the public and private sectors, including the Digital Economy Promotion Agency and Kasikorn Business-Technology Group, discussed AI and Generative AI, a much talked-about topic. They also engaged in friendly discussions about the practical applications of Generative AI with the participants in the seminar.

During the event, Dr. Passakon Prathombutr, Deputy Managing Director of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), delivered a presentation on the topic "Shifting Thailand towards AI Technology." DEPA emphasized the importance of developing AI and its benefits for people's daily lives, especially for businesses and consumers. It highlighted the various benefits that AI brings, as seen in the significant interest people have shown in the work of technologies like ChatGPT, which have greatly enhanced efficiency in various service industries and increased revenue. Furthermore, many different industry sectors in Thailand have started to integrate AI into their operations. Dr. Passakorn also revealed that Thailand has its own AI development plan for the years 2022 to 2027, which takes into account the context and readiness of Thai society across various dimensions.

Dr. Monchai Lertsutthiwong, Principal Research Engineer and Head of AI Research at KBTG Labs, a part of Kasikorn Business-Technology Group, presented on the topic "Empowering Human-AI Collaboration with Responsible Generative AI." He emphasized the importance of collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence, as well as the numerous challenges that businesses must face in AI development. Furthermore, Dr. Monchai provided intriguing examples of AI applications in various fields such as medicine and education. He also highlighted the significance of using AI-generated data to support decision-making. He revealed that KBTG Labs is currently working on developing an AI Chatbot that can provide users with information from different perspectives.

Next in line, Mr. Nattapon Kraisingkorn, Vice President of Corporate Development at Amity Solutions, presented on the topic "Putting Generative AI to Live." This presentation touched on how Generative AI can be used to create AI Chatbot solutions for medium and large businesses. It included showcasing the enhancements made to Generative AI, improving chatbot functionality with AI's ability to understand and respond to human questions more effectively to provide more accurate and precise information in responses.

The event’s highlight was a discussion and exchange of firsthand experiences among technology experts including Mr. Nattapon Kraisingkorn, Vice President of Corporate Development at Amity Solutions, Mr. Nattaphat Narapimsakul, Head of Consulting & Professional Services at True IDC, Ms. Paruja Chukiatkajorn, Business Development Director at Alibaba Cloud, and Mr. Apichat Asawaditsayangkun, Enterprise Business Development Director at T3 Technology. All of these experts shared their unique perspectives during the discussion under the topic "Discovering the Generative AI Ecosystem." The talk was beneficial for various businesses and organizations and will lead to the creation of a generative AI ecosystem capable of addressing technology challenges comprehensively.
