“True IDC” Signs MOU with “SIAM.AI CLOUD” to Establish Thailand as the Regional AI Data Center Hub or TH-AI-LAND

Bangkok, December 4, 2024 – True Internet Data Center (True IDC), a subsidiary of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP) and Thailand’s leading data center and cloud service provider, has partnered with Siam AI Corporation (SIAM.AI CLOUD), a provider of high-performance cloud computing services, Thailand’s first NVIDIA Cloud Partner and an innovator in AI technologies. The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at advancing Thailand’s AI ecosystem, encompassing digital infrastructure, AI model development, and online AI services. The primary goal is to elevate Thailand’s AI capabilities to the global stage.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont, Senior Chairman of CP Group, Mr. Supakit Chearavanont, Chairman of CP Group, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of CP Group, alongside Mr. Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA. Representing their organizations in this significant agreement were Mr. Thanasorn Jaidee, President of True IDC, and Mr. Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, CEO of SIAM.AI CLOUD, who signed the MOU to drive technological advancements in AI and enhance Thailand’s global competitiveness.

• AI Model Development: Co-develop Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and versatile AI applications with precision and ethical standards.
